Well...this is a simple one. An electronic reader is simply the iPod of text. What the iPod did for the music industry ie: easy access to music anytime, anywhere, the electronic reader will do for books, magazines, blogs,...basically anything you can read.
It is basically a book in a digital format. But, and here is the big but...it is different than reading, say, something on your computer or cell phone because of an amazing technology called e-ink or e-paper. This new technology provides several advantages and simply put makes reading digital text as easy as reading regular printed text (except you don't get dirty newsprint fingers!)
