Amazon releases new software: Kindle for PC

Read kindle Books on your Computer for Free with New kindle for PC Application

Yesterday (Tuesday), Amazon released a new software application allowing kindle users to read their kindle e-books on their PC computers.  The new application syncs with the kindle electronic reader to allow people to switch from one to the other seamlessly.

With kindle's Whispersync feature you can access your full kindle book library, your notes and bookmarks, as well as, shop Amazons collection of over 360,000 e-books. 

Two shortcomings of this new software are that it does not yet work on Mac. Amazon says that the Mac version is coming soon. Also, kindle newspapers, magazines and blogs are not available yet.
