Fourth-generation electronic book reader from Bookeen BooKeen Electronic Book Reader

Bookeen, one of the first companies into the electronic reader market (1998) has released its fourth generation electronic book reader, named the Cybook Opus.

Bookeen has tried really hard to keep up to the big players, Amazon kindle and Sony Reader. They've done a good job with the Cybook Opus. It is slimmer, lighter and faster than many of its competitors packing a 400MHz processor into a compact 4 inch by 6 inch frame and a weight of only 5.3 oz (150 g).

What’s the “Story”? iRiver to Join the Electronic Reader Market

The iRiver Story takes a page from the Sony Reader and the Amazon kindle

 

You have to give iRiver, a company out of South Korea credit. They may not be on the forefront of electronics innovation or hugely successful with the products they do sell, but that doesn't seem to stop them from trying.

As we all know, the electronic reader market has literally exploded in the last several months and so it's no surprise that iRiver has come out with a new addition to its line-up: the iRiver Story Electronic Reader.

The Amazon kindle DX ships today!!!

As you all know, Amazon has released their newest generation Amazon kindle DX.  It started shipping today (June 10th) to those who had pre-ordered it. So, you can expect some reviews of the kindle DX in the next couple of days. 

In the meantime, I thought I'd give you a brief overview of what you can expect from the kindle DX.
